Playing with the puppies is actually a part of the puppies’ training by getting them socialized – ok, it’s just plain fun! But the explanation of the training and first hand accounts of running the Iditarod (by 4 time winner, Jeff King) was incredibly informative. Jeff has a funny and engaging presentation where he shows his respect for all of the participants and volunteers in the race. We learn so much about the sport of mushing. It is clear that he loves the dogs and feels that the dogs are the true stars!
